Role Overview: Community & Events Manager (Remote)
Community and events are core to Chili Piper’s go-to-market strategy. In this role, you’ll own the planning, execution, and measurement of events ranging from private executive gatherings to large-scale brand activations.
You’ll report directly to the VP of Marketing and work cross-functionally with the Partnerships and Sales teams to run a comprehensive events program that serves prospects, customers, and the broader GTM community.
You will be responsible for logistics, promotions, relationship management, vendor coordination, tracking performance, and generating creative ideas that elevate Chili Piper’s presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Annual Event Calendar
- Identify conferences, meetups, community gatherings, and partner activations
- Build and maintain a strategic event calendar aligned with GTM priorities
Manage Execution End-to-End
- Plan and coordinate logistics including venues, travel, vendors, catering, shipping, swag, and on-site operations
- Manage budgets, negotiate rates, and track expenses
- Lead smooth execution from setup to teardown
Run Event Promotion
- Build landing pages for event registration
- Export segmented lists from Salesforce or HubSpot
- Manage outreach, invites, reminders, and follow-up email campaigns independently
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work with Marketing for branding, design, and promotion
- Partner with Sales to prioritize accounts and invite prospects and customers
- Coordinate with Partnerships for co-branded activations and sponsorships
Ensure Strong On-Site Execution
- Manage schedules, deliverables, and run-of-show plans
- Guarantee a seamless, professional experience for attendees
Track and Report Performance
- Capture attendee data and activity
- Measure engagement and pipeline influence
- Deliver post-event performance reports
Amplify Event Content
- Coordinate photos, videos, and testimonials
- Repurpose event assets for social media, newsletters, and post-event communications
Maintain Relationships
- Nurture connections with GTM leaders, partners, influencers, and community hosts
Manage Vendors and Budgets
- Evaluate vendor options, negotiate contracts, and oversee execution
Propose New Ideas
- Suggest innovative formats, collaborations, and experiences that help Chili Piper stand out

- Skilled in budget management, vendor sourcing, and on-site coordination
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
- Familiar with event metrics, reporting, and pipeline attribution
Bonus Experience
- Background in B2B SaaS, RevOps, or MarTech
- Experience with partner activations or co-marketing
- Familiarity with Webflow or Figma
- Past involvement with sponsorships or brand collaborations
