Sales Development Representative at Wishpond – Remote

Are you a “go-getter” with a “never-say-die” attitude? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your persistence directly impacts the company’s bottom line?

Wishpond Technologies is officially opening doors for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our 100% remote global team. If you are looking to build a career in a high-growth SaaS company that is publicly traded and internationally recognized, this is your moment.

Who is Wishpond?

Founded in 2009, Wishpond is a powerhouse in the digital marketing space. We provide small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with the tools they need to grow—from landing pages and social promotions to lead tracking and automated marketing workflows.

With over 3,000 customers ranging from ambitious startups to Fortune 500 giants, we are the engine behind thousands of success stories. Now, we need an engine for our own sales team.

The Role: The Frontline of Growth

As an SDR at Wishpond, you aren’t just a number; you are the engine that keeps our sales team moving. You will be on the frontlines, responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing the leads that eventually become our long-term partners.

This role is 100% remote, meaning you can be based anywhere in the world (outside of Canada) as long as you are prepared to work on Pacific Time (PT).

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • The Hunt: Prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels.
  • The Pitch: Consistently booking demos via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other creative outreach platforms.
  • The Management: Maintaining a massive sales pipeline with “obsessive” CRM hygiene and data integrity.
  • The Follow-Up: Executing persistent follow-up strategies to ensure no lead is left behind.
  • The Optimization: Constantly refining your outreach tactics based on data and results.

Do You Have the “SDR DNA”?

We aren’t just looking for a resume; we are looking for a specific mindset. The ideal Wishpond SDR is:

  1. Relentless: You have a “never give up” attitude toward booking demos. Rejection doesn’t slow you down; it fuels your next call.
  2. Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable with CRM systems and sales tools, understanding that data accuracy is just as important as the sales pitch.
  3. A Communication Pro: You can pivot your tone and message to engage prospects across different channels (Email, LinkedIn, Phone).
  4. A Strategic Thinker: You don’t just work hard; you work smart. You analyze your process and look for ways to improve conversion rates.
  5. Fluent in English: As you’ll be servicing clients primarily in the US and Canada, excellent spoken and written English is a must.

Why Join the Wishpond Team?

Joining Wishpond means joining a high-growth technology company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Beyond the prestige, we offer:

  • Global Freedom: Work from your home anywhere in the world.
  • Professional Development: A comprehensive training program designed to facilitate your success and regular performance reviews to help you grow.
  • Competitive Edge: Compensation based on experience and proven abilities, plus referral incentives and bonuses.
  • Culture: A multicultural, talented, and close-knit workforce with deep roots in beautiful Vancouver, BC.
  • Perks: Significant discounts on Wishpond products for your own personal business ventures.

💡 Pro-Tips to Stand Out:

  • Show Your “Persistence”: In your cover letter or resume, don’t just say you are persistent—give a specific example of a time you followed up multiple times to win a deal or achieve a goal.
  • Highlight CRM Skills: If you have experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools, make sure it is front and center.
  • Address the Time Zone: Confirm your availability for Pacific Time business hours. Showing you’ve planned for the schedule shows you are serious.
